Another Look at the First 4 Chapters of A Course in Miracles

The idea for a writing project arrived in early 2023

much inner preparation going on

The idea became more specific in the summer of 2024

and ‘Another Look’ was born

‘Another Look’ will be to support those

who have had much experience with the Course

It won’t be helpful for new students

The writing is being approached from a radical viewpoint

What if we disregard the Course’s “history” and simply allow the teaching
the very idea in the very sentence we are reading now
to heal us now

What could this approach show us?
    Listening for an answer to this question is the writing project

    Progress on the timeline is slow but sure

    It feels divinely held and divinely inspired
    The challenge is not to judge any aspect of it and open to a new way of seeing now
    Every writing session is a leap
    into joining minds with Jesus

    Every writing session is a miracle of joining

    The guidance is to take no care for a “finished product” but find joy in the freedom of listening and writing in the present
    Words arrive in my mind that I only vaguely understand, and there are many pauses to consult the dictionary

     

    ‘This course will teach you how to remember what you are, restoring to you your Identity’ ACIM

    This project is teaching me how to remember what I am, restoring to me my Identity

    The “listening muscles” are gradually growing stronger

    yet it seems this project could last a lifetime

    Guidance in January 2025 is to focus on the first 4 chapters, rather than the first 5
    This will speed things up, and still fulfill the purpose
    Gratitude!
